I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city and within walking distance to everything I wanted to see in Heidelberg. The hotel is situated right on the bustling shopping area, making it extremely convenient for exploring. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any questions or requests I had. The rooms were comfortable and had good wifi, which was important for me as I needed to stay connected. I especially appreciated the fact that breakfast was included in the room rate, and it offered a great variety of options to start my day off right. this hotel provided excellent value for money and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
All in all, my experience at this hotel was great and there was nothing that really stood out as needing improvement.

The location is very central and the room was spacious and clean. Although the windows were looking to the main square, the isolation was good so that there was neither noise from traffic nor the people outside.
First of all, the hotel has no elevator, which is a very big minus for guests above a certain age. Second, the reception is not open 24 hours, so if there is a problem with the room, you have to wait for the next morning. Luckily, we had no problems. Third, the room did not have a fridge (although it has a tv and a radio - which I find less important than a fridge). To be honest, paying 85 euros per night for such a comfort level was not pleasant. Compared to other hotels in Heidelberg, this was an economical choice, but the price is still very high.

Free wifi did not reach the top floor of the hotel, which was also quite warm. Room was always very bright in the early mornings because skylights had no shutters!

We loved staying at this hotel! The location was perfect, with easy access to transportation and close to everything we wanted to see and do in this city. We were able to walk to all the major sights, and the tram was conveniently located nearby. The hotel facilities were also great, with clean and spacious rooms that had a boutique feel. The staff were helpful and made us feel right at home. Breakfast at the bistro was great, too!
Nothing negative to say.

The room was very tastefully and unusually furnished. The wi fi was a good speed, and the location is most convenient for travelling around Heidelberg.
There was no English channel on the tv, though cnn was listed on the tv guide provided by the hotel.

I arrived at the Denner Hotel on May 17 according to my reserved schedule. On May 18, due to the British Airways cabin crew strike, I had to change my reservation to 4 nights instead of the five nights originally booked. To my surprise, the lady at the front desk said they would charge me 80% of the fifth night, which as far as I am concerned is unheard of in any hotel establishment. I did not cancel my booking, it was not a case of no-show; I simply reduced my stay in one day and they charged me almost the full price, just as if I had canceled my reservation according to the cancellation policy described on the Booked.net website.

The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent
I would have appreciated a greater choice of TV programmes. ZDF,CNN, TV5, BR etc. were not available.

The breakfast offered at the attached cafe was a great way to start the day. The central location was super convenient for exploring the city on foot. , the size of the room was a very good surprise.
The lack of elevator made climbing up to the rooms very challenging for those with mobility issues. The bed was not the most comfortable, and the soundproofing could have been better as tram noise was very audible.
